This article described the evolution of transplanted metallic material for human body,introduced in detail the metallic characters of stainless steel,cobalt—chromium alloy and titanium alloy which are all used for medical purpose as well as the shape memory alloy, a new type biological engineering material, and summarized the general status of those metallic materials at home and abroad with a few examples for application
