摘要
通过改变加在液晶盒上的电压和入射光的波长,利用分光光度计测量偏振光通过液晶盒的透射率,对液晶的双折射效应进行了深入研究,得出了液晶双折射率随电压变化的规律。所得结论为偏光器件的设计与制作提供了依据。
The birefringence effect of liquid crystals was studied. By using a spectral photometer and altering voltages and wavelengths, the transmission of the polarized light passing through the liquid crystal cell was tested . The regularity of birefringence varied with voltage was obtained .The conclusion offers a gist for designing and making polarizer, and establishes a base for research of polarized light technique.
