According to the Chenzhou cigarette factory development plan and the actual production demand, the control system of tobacco thread storeroom of tobacco thread production line based on the DeviceNet fieldbus was designed, and the system structure and the formidable function were elaborated. This system is the precise timing control system, using PLC as the main platform, connected with many inverters by DeviceNet fieldbus. The acutual running indicated that the system had greatly enhanced the production efficiency, had created the obvious economic benifit.
