Transcending the Opposition between Global Ethics and National Interests

全球化进程的加速发展,日益凸显出全球伦理的意义和价值。然而,这却丝毫不能否认不同国家主体对其自身利益的价值诉求。究竟如何看待它们之间的关系,从根本上说是一个如何处理人类利益与国家利益之间关系的问题。在这个问题上,一直存在着全球主义和国家主义两种不同观点在方法论上的对立。解决这两种对立的观点存在的问题,关键的是要实现对其方法论上的超越。

With the development of globalization, global ethics has the more demonstrated the significances and values of its global ethics. This, however, can by no means prevent each nation from pursuing its own interests and values. Fundamentally speaking, in which way to appreciate the relationship between them, is a question of how to handle the relationship between human and national interests. There has always been the opposition between two different outlooks on thisissue: one is globalism, and the other, nationalism. The key to dissolving the opposition is to transcend their methodologies.
