S-Shape Wire Wrapping Techniques for Suspension Bridge of Runyang Bridge

润扬大桥悬索桥主缆在国内首次采用S形钢丝缠丝技术进行主缆防护,其施工工艺与以往采用圆形软钢丝缠丝工艺有所不同。简要介绍S形钢丝缠丝工艺、施工过程和施工方法等,为今后类似工程提供参考。

The main cables of the Suspension Bridge of Runyang Bridge are protected with S-shape wire wrapping for the first time in China. The wrapping procedures of the S-shape wires are different from those of the conventional wrapping used with circular-shape soft wires. In this paper, the wrapping procedures, construction process and construction method for the S-shape wires are described, which provides references for the similar kind of construction in the future.
