古琴艺术在中国传统音乐文化中始终占有位尊价高之地位,古琴音乐所表现出的含蓄、淡和、移情之美,代表着中国传统音乐文化发展的主流,是中国古典音乐文化的象征。对古代中国的文人来说,"琴"言志是他们毕生追求的目标,也是中国传统音乐审美范畴的重要标准之一。

The art of ancient zither has been taking the lead in the process of traditional Chinese musical literature.The connotation,simplicitv elegance,gentleness and empathy which the ancient zither reflects stand for the mainstream of the development of traditional Chinese musical literature,and they are the symbol of ancient Chinese musical literature.As to the ancient Chinese scholars,zither characterizes one's aopiration is the goal they've been seeking for,and also is one of the important criterions of traditional Chinese musical aesthetic category.
