Ancient Chinese teaching is one of the most difficult subjects in Chinese speciality at colleges or universities. Putting forward quality education in the teaching of ancient Chinese not only promotes the teaching quality but also is beneficial for training modern talents. This paper from the command of theoretical concepts, the study of rudimentary knowledge, the training of students' abilities, the innovation of teaching methods, expounds the relationship between ancient Chinese teaching and quality education and explores the ways to cultivate modern talents in the teaching of ancient Chinese teaching.
