为适应西部大开发战略的实施 ,图书馆工作的着眼点应该是加快信息服务建设 ,充分利用馆藏文献资源 ,开展宣传报导和各种咨询服务工作 ,同时注重如何发掘和整理利用馆藏西部历史典籍 ,让西部传统文化遗产体现应有的价值。

In order to get adapted to the implementation of west development,the starting point of the library work should be accelerated in information service construction,making full use of the documentation resources,developing propaganda and reports as well as all kinds of consultancy services.Meanwhile we must focus on the mining and sorting of ancient historical records in western China in the libraries,let western traditional cultural heritage embody its proper value.
