在当代国际贸易由纸制贸易向无纸化贸易演变的过程中,信用证业务这种典型的单证运作模式受到的冲击最大。随着电子提单等电子单证的应用,电子交单和电子审单已提上议事日程。ISP98作为比较新的专门性国际备用信用证惯例,对这种趋势作出了反映,文章主要就ISP98的电子化规定进行了剖析,以求对我国的电子备用信用证发展提供参考。

The procedure of letter of credit is sharply impacted when the international trade evolutes from paper to non-paper.With the electric documents to be used, the electric presentation and examination are submitted into the schedule.As a new practice for international standby letter of credit,ISP98 reflects this electronic development.This thesis studies on the ISP98 rules for electronic standby in order to supply reference for the electronic standby in China.
