周连宽先生校注本《西域行程记西域番国志》拾遗

A Supplement to Zhou Liankuan's Check and Annotation Version of Travel to the Western Regions and Records of the Western Countries(《西域行程记 西域番国志》)

本文首先对周连宽先生校注的《西域行程记西域番国志》一书版本进行了补充 ,认为江西省图书馆藏清雍正七年 ( 1 72 9年 )刻本是目前为止最好的版本 ,可补《善本丛书》本之不足。其次 ,对作者陈诚及其在明朝与帖木儿朝交往中所发挥的作用作了进一步论述。

This paper first provides new editions of the book Travel to the Western Regions and Records of the Western Countries that is checked and annotated by Mr. Zhou Liankuan. It is held that the best edition so far is the block-printed one that was published in the 7th year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty (1729) and now kept in Jiangxi Provincial Library. This edition can complement the one in 'Series of Rare Books' (Shan Ben Cong Shu). Then the paper discusses Chen Cheng, author of the book, and his role in the communication between Ming Dynasty and Tiemuer regime.
