This paper illustrates the characteristics of the multi-media CAI courseware, explains the use and the function of animation and audio-visual in the PowerPoint multi-media CAI courseware in the teaching processes, analyzes and compares the classifications and the ways to insert the animation in PowerPoint multi-media CAI courseware which will be useful and helpful in the practical production of CAI courseware.
