Digital Campus Three Dimension Simulation System Based on Virtual Reality Technology

数字校园是虚拟现实技术与网络教育结合得最早的具体应用。该文首先介绍了虚拟现实这一新技术的相关概念及发展现状 ,然后结合学校数字校园三维漫游系统的建设 ,介绍了实现数字校园虚拟现实的软硬件组成、原则、方法和一些关键技术 ,最后提出了有关数字校园未来发展趋势的一些想法。

Digital Campus is the earliest specific application of virtual reality technology and web-based education. The author firstly introduces the concepts and development of virtual reality. Then combined with the development of HUST's Digital Campus Three Dimension Simulation System, the author discusses the principles, methods and some critical technologies of software and hardware applied in achieving the digital campus virtual reality. At the end of this paper, some ideas about the development tendency in the future are raised.
