一种新的基于率失真优化的运动补偿方法

摘要 该文主要介绍了一种新的基于率失真优化的运动补偿的方法。它针对8x8的子块,提出了若干更贴近于实际物体轮廓和实际运动轨迹的运动分割模式,通过率失真方程来选择模式,利用这些模式来进行运动估计和运动补偿,从而达到高效地描述物体运动的目的,并在码率和失真之间取得了一个良好的平衡。实验结果表明,在全码率范围内,这种新的运动补偿方法的性能较传统的方法都有不同幅度的提高,而运算复杂度的提高也在可以接受的范围之内。 In this paper,a new rate-distortion optimized scheme of motion compensation for video compression has been described.Firstly,some motion segmentation patterns based on the8x8sub blocks which match the contour of real world object and the real world motion track have been implemented to describe the motions more precisely and efficiently.Secondly,a rate-distortion optimized pattern selection has been adopted to make a trade-off between the overhead and the compression effect.According to the experiment results,this new method would get better performance with compare to the conventional algorithms at any bit rate,and will not bring much computational complexity increase.
