Video on Demand Based on the Streaming Media Technology

流媒体技术的出现和相关应用推动了宽带网络的飞速发展。在描述流媒体传输方式、播放形式等相关问题的基础上 ,给出了一个运用流媒体技术实现电视节目网上点播的解决方案。

The appearance and application of the streaming media technology push the broadband network to develop very quickly. Based on the way of the transmission and the form of broadcasting, a solution of video on demand is presented in this paper.
