摘要
本地多点分配技术(LMDS)是一种崭新的宽带无线接入技术,支持话音、数据、因特网及视频图像等业务,工作频段高于20GHz。本文主要介绍了LMDS的技术特点、系统组成、制约因素、对策和发展现状。另外,还给出LMDS系统中有待于研究的问题。
The local multipoint distribute service (LMDS) is a new broadband fixed-wireless technology used to provide voice, data, Internet, and video services at frequencies higher than 20-40GHz.This paper introduces its features, system configuration, restrictions, countermeasures and current development. Also presented in this paper are some problems in the LMDS system which remain to be solved.
