Athena Tacha is a sculptor known for her large-scale public works and has been creating the 'site-specific architectural sculpture' since 1970's. She has always been sensitive to site and audience, thinking about the physical as well as esthetic use of her public arts. By combining out-door sculptures with landscapes, combining her intense scientific curiosity about the structure of the universe with visual and visceral experience of landscape. In her native country Greece, she created many rhythmical, playful and unique hard-landscapes.
