Appreciation and Design of Waterfall Landscape

从研究瀑布的发生、分类,瀑布景观的组成以及瀑布落水的基本形式入手,探讨瀑布景观设计的理论基础。根据“得其性、仿其形、取其意”的原则进行瀑布景观设计。力求在瀑布设计中重视科学性与艺术性相结合,创造“源于自然,高于自然”的瀑布景观。

Beginning with the study of the generation of waterfall and its classification, the basic forms of falling water, and the constitution of waterfall landscape, this paper probes into the nature of theoretical essentials of waterfall landscape design. Pursuant to the basic principle of 'treatment of the water 'in landscape and garden, namely the principle of 'the restrain of temperament, the design of form, and the adoption of meaning', this paper makes a design of waterfall landscape to actualize the combination of science and art throughout the design and thus creates a waterfall landscape that is 'generated from nature, but is supreme than nature'.
