摘要
该文提出了快速分形图像编码基于图像块方差的新算法 ,推广了C .K .Lee等提出的局部方差算法 (IEEETrans .ImageProcess .,1998,7( 6) :888-891)。新算法增加了两个参数以控制编码速度和解码图像质量。计算机仿真结果显示了算法的有效性 :例如 ,对于 2 5 6× 2 5 6× 8Lena图像 ,相对于全搜索的基本分形编码算法 ,该文算法 (对某些参数值 )在编码时间加快2 3倍的同时 ,PSNR反而增加 0 .
A new fast fractal encoding algorithm on the intensity variances of image blocks is developed, which generalized the local variances-based algorithm proposed by C. K. Lee et al (IEEE Trans. Image Process., 1998, 7(6): 888-891). The proposed algorithm adds two parameters that can control the encoding speed and decoded image quality. Computer simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed fast algorithm: e.g., for a 256×256×8 Lena image the proposed algorithm with some parameter values can speed up the encoding by 23 times while the PSNR even increases by about 0.12dB over the baseline fractal coding algorithm with the exhaustive search.
