古英语属于综合语,其句法关系用屈折变化来表示;古汉语属于分析语,其句法关系用词序来表示。两种语言的比较式句法结构很不相同,但也有相似之处。

This paper analyzes comparative structure of ancient English, ancient Chinese and Southern Fujian Dialect. Ancient English is a synthetic language that indicates the relation of words in a sentence by means of inflection while ancient Chinese is an analytic language that indicates grammatical relations by means of word order. There are some differences between the structures of them from which some similarities can be found.
