摘要
本文通过问卷调查和访谈的形式,对177名英语零起点蒙语授课学生的教材使用情况进行调查。调查结果表明:《当代大学英语》充分体现了《大纲》精神,融语言、文化和知识于一体,重素质与学习能力的培养;突出了教材的科学性、知识性、趣味性、实用性和通用性等特点,适合英语零起点的少数民族大学生做衔接教材使用。
A study was made through questionnaires and interviews to investigate using Contemporary College English as teaching textbooks for 177 English beginners who study in Mongolian language.The results show that Contemporary College English embodies the main points of the teaching syllabus,integrates language into culture and knowledge and emphasizes cultivation of quality and learning competence,and at the same time with its characteristics of scientificalness,knowledge,interest,practical applicability and generality highlighted.This set of textbooks can be used as transitional textbooks for ethnic minority university students who are English beginners.
