The paper introduced some synthetic methods and progress on optical 2-chloropropionic acid and ester,which included the compound's synthesis by optical raw material,or bacteria,or biological enzyme and asymmetry; also introduced the application in chiral pesticides like herbicide and fungicide in 30 years.
