摘要
多媒体技术的迅速发展,使多媒体课件的应用越来越广泛。但多媒体教学并未取得人们预想的效果,其原因并不在于技术,而在于如何设计和合理使用课件。多媒体课件的实用性、艺术性、适应性、交互性成为设计中应注意的首要问题。
With the rapid development of new technologies, the application of multi-media coursewares has become increasingly common. However, the results have not been satisfactory. The reason is not that the technologies are not advanced enough but rather that problems exist in the design and utilization of the coursewares. The solution is to take into consideration the issues of practicality, aesthetics, adaptability and interactivity during the design process.A software should be practical in the sense that it suits the material being taught. To achieve this aim, the software has to be fully contextualized in order to arouse the interest of students and the key teaching points should all be covered. More importantly, the software should complement not replace traditional face-to-face teaching. Frontline teachers always have the final say regarding what to teach.Besides, the aesthetics of the interface should meet the needs of the learners of a given age group. The psychological needs of distance learners should also be taken into account.Lastly, interactivity is the most important feature of multi-media softwares. Interactivity allows teachers to keep track of students' learning progress and adjust the teaching content and lesson plans accordingly. Moreover, interactive software can enable autonomous learning.
