Li Dongyuan's Spleen-Stomach Theory and Clinical Practice

李东垣是金元四大家中补土派的代表 ,他创立的脾胃学说对后世影响很大。在学习《脾胃论》的基础上 ,从生理病理和治法用药两方面探讨脾胃学说的实质 ,本着古为今用的思想 ,归述其在现代临床上的实用价值。

Li Dongyuan was the representative of school of medical thought of strengthening spleen, one of the four schools of medical thought in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties. His spleen-stomach theory has great influences on the following generations. On the basis of studying his book Pi Wei Lun, or Treatise on Spleen and Stomach, the author studied the essence of the spleen-stomach theory physiologically, pathologically, therapeutically and administrationally. The purpose is to make use of the ancient theory for the present, and summarize its clinical practical value in modern clinical application.
