摘要
神经生长因子对神经系统发育过程中的生长、生存及成熟神经系统的维持都是必不可少的。但也有相反的报道 ,NGF可通过神经营养素低亲和型受体 p75 NTR诱导细胞凋亡的发生。我们综述了NGF这两方面的内容 ,着重介绍神经生长因子及其受体在视网膜的分布和作用以及p75 NTR介导细胞凋亡的机制。
Nerve growth factor(NGF) is essential for growth and survival in the developing nervous system ,and it is also vital for the maintenance of the mature nervous system. However,recent data point to a paradoxical role for nerve growth factor .Under specific conditions,NGF can mediate apoptosis by the lower affinity neurotrophin receptor p75(p75 NTR ).In the paper,distribution and function of nerve growth factor with its receptor in the retina and the apoptosis induction through the lower affinity neurotrophin receptor p75 NTR are reviewed,and retinal neurodegeneration in nerve growth factor are also introduced.
