Discussion on Boundary of Upper and Lower Permian in Guangdong Province.

根据广东省二叠纪含煤岩系的沉积特征及古生物资料:将其划分为不同类型并分别确定其上下二叠统的界线。

On the basis of coal geologic exploration data obtai-ned from many years and with reference ofdeposition features in coalbearing strata inGuangdong province,the paper listed zoolithsand plant fossils in principal coal fields inthe province,classified coal measures into threetypes,i.e.,Quren,Lianyang and Guanhua.Thebase of sandstone K_1 in the top of Wenbishanformation is the boundary of Upper and lowerpermian for Quren-tepe coal measures,but,itis the plane of unconfermity formed duringDongwu movement which constitutes the bounda-ry for Lianyang and Guanhua types.
