Rebuilding the topological information of STL file fastly

在分析现有建立拓扑信息方法的基础上,提出基于面连接到顶点、顶点连接到面的基本拓扑信息,通过将面片顶 点与面片顶点的引用面的顶点进行比较来获得拓扑信息。试验运行结果表明,本方法能够快速而准确地建立拓扑信息。

Based on the analysis of the existing methods used to rebuild the topological information, a new and efficient method is presented. On the basic topological information, including the information of facet to vertex and vertex to facet, the topological information can be rebuilt by comparing the vertex in the facet with the vertex in another facet linked to the former vertex. The results of the running of program demonstrate the new method is efficient.
