太原西山煤田太原组煤核中的科达植物雌性生殖器官

ON FEMALE CORDAITEAN REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS IN COAL BALLS FROM TAIYUAN FORMATION, XISHAN COAL-FIELD, TAIYUAN, SHANXI

报道了首次发现于我国的3种石化科达植物雌性生殖器官Coradianthus sinensis sp.nov., C.xishanensis sp. nov.和C. sp., 描述了它们的内部解剖构造特征,并与欧美植物区的雌性石化科达穗进行厂比较.这些化石均产于山西太原西山煤田太原组上部7号煤层煤核中.

Under study are the anatomical structures of three kinds of petrified female cordaitean fructification (Cordaianthus Grand'Eury) which are preserved in coal balls of Coal Seam No. 7 in the upper part of the Taiyuan Formation of Xishan Coal-Field, Taiyuan, Shanxi. They are different from other species of Cordaianthus Grand'Eury, and have not yet been reported in China before. DESCRIPTION OF NEW SPECIES Cordaianthus sinensis sp. nov. (Pl. I, figs. 1-3; Pl. II, figs. 1-4) Dwarf shoot 1.2-1.5cm in length and 5-8mm in diameter,round in transverse section and rectangular in longitudinal section. Scales 105-115 in number. Sterile scales borne on lower and middle parts of dwarf shoot, which are string-like in transverse section. Fertile scales borne on upper part of dwarf shoot, which are helmet-like in transverse section. Sterile and fertile scales nearly the same in number. Cordaianthus xishanensis sp. nov. (Pl. I, figs. 4-7; Pl. II, figs. 5-8) Primary axis diamond-like in transverse section, 2-3mm in diameter. Dwarf shoot 8-10mm in length, 5mm in diameter in the middle part, round in transverse section and elliptical in longitudinal section. Sterile scales borne on lower, middle and upper parts of dwarf shoot, string like in transverse section, 30-35 in number. Fertile scales borne on top of dwarf shoot, irregular in transverse section, 5-10 in number.
