摘要
近 10多年来 ,随着小波理论研究的不断深入 ,基于小波变换的图像压缩应用日趋成熟。小波变换是不同于传统变换的现代分析工具 ,文章论述了小波变换的概念和小波的选择一般原则 。
The application of Wavelet-based image compression is becoming more and more perfect as the wavelet theory research proceeds in latest decade.Wavelet transform,which is different from traditional transform,is a modern analytic tool.This paper illustrates the concept of wavelet transform and general principle to choose wavelet.And it also introduces the method of wavelet-based image compression and character of wavelet image in details.
