Translation into Chinese of Film Scripts and Scripts of TV Drama Series - Four Main Conflicting Demands

用于中文配音的外国影视剧台词的翻译应遵从文学翻译的一般原则,但又具有自己的特殊性。本文从其特殊性出发,论述了翻译过程中最常见四对矛盾（即口型与内容的矛盾、语序与画面的矛盾、归化与异化的矛盾及音译与意译的矛盾）及其相应的解决途径。

The translation of film scripts and scripts of TV drama series for the purpose of dubbing in Chinese partakes of the nature of literary translation, but it must also meet some special requirements. Based on these special requirements, the author analyses the four main conflicting demands facing a translator in the process of translation - length vs. content, word order vs. picture order, naturalization vs. alienation and transliteration vs. semantic translation - and suggests ways of resolving these conflicts.
