By a complete statistical research into the illustrations of De(得) in Quotations From Er Cheng(二程语录),the thesis studies the syntactical functions of De(得) in a variety of structure models ('V+De(得)', 'V+De(得)+C' and 'V+De(得)+O'), and the various kinds of the complement and object following it. The study gives a good description on the grammatical meanings and features of De(得) during Northern Song Dynasty(北宋).
