再谈“吃了他三个苹果”一类结构的性质

A double-object analysis of the Mandarin pattern of "chi le ta san ge pingguo"

"吃(了)他三个苹果"一类结构,该分析为单宾结构还是双宾结构?语法学界一直有不同的看法。本文将运用最近郭锐(2002)所提出的"语法动态性"理论和詹卫东(1999)关于"广义配价模式"的理论来进一步解释、说明将"吃了他三个苹果"一类结构分析为双宾结构的可取性,并对这类双宾结构内部的动词和语义关系作了更细致的描写,同时说明这类双宾结构从本质上说,跟"给了他三个苹果"还是有区别的。

Some Chinese linguists believe that the construction 'chi le ta san ge pingguo' (ate his three apples / His three apples were eaten) should be regarded as a simple object construction, and the others insist that this construction should be analyzed as double-object construction. This paper, based on the theory of Dynamic Grammar, demonstrates that a double-object analysis is better choice to this pattern. Furthermore, the difference between this construction and the typical double-object construction 'gei le ta san ge pingguo'(gave him three apples) is also discussed.
