释“陆”

Note on the Word "Lu"

本文分析了“陆”字的甲骨文形体 ,《说文》“陆 ,高平地”的释义为“陆”一词的本义所在。“陆”一词在甲骨文形体表现时 ,在“大陆也。山无石者”义的部件“阜”的基础上 ,加上收获的麦子积在庐舍中且形体上下重叠的情景 ,实际上透露出这样两方面的事实 :其一 ,麦子可以在该“陆”之地种植 ;其二 ,人们可以在该“陆”之地居住。而“陆”字右边上下重叠状 ,说明了收获的麦子积在庐舍中的情景在“陆”之地是多见的。

The paper{ analyses} the form of the character "lu"(陆) on jiaguwen, the explanation as "lu"(陆) is high and flat land" in shuowen is its original meaning. When the word "lu"(陆) is expressed by the character form on jiaguwen, its form is based on the component "fu"(阜) which means "{mainland}; mountain with no rockeries " , adding with the harvested wheat which is piled up in the farmhouse and one on top of another in its character form . Actually,{ it} reveals the fact in two aspects: first, wheat can be grown on the land "lu"(陆) and second, people can live on the land "lu"(陆) . The right part of the character "lu"(陆) in which the wheat is one on top of another shows that it is popular on the land "lu"(陆) that the harvested wheat is piled up in the farmhouse.
