Yu Hua: A Pioneer in Modern Chinese Literature

余华是先锋派中最有成就的一位作家。他以冷漠超然的态度在他的小说的叙事模式上所进行的大胆变革,颠覆了传统小说对生活的认知,开拓出了一个新的审美艺术空间。他审视人性之恶,展现人生苦难。他之所以取得那么高的成就,是因为他有正视现实的勇气和对现实的批判。

Yu Hua is a fruitful writer of the Pioneer School. He reformed the narrative pattern decisively, which overthrew the traditional novels' knowledge about life and reclaimed a new aesthetic artistic space. In his works, he surveyed the evils innate in human character and revealed the difficulties in life. It is because he has the courage to face up to and criticize reality that he has made such achievements in writing.
