摘要 研发力量的薄弱,使得国产手机在与国外对手的阵地战中渐落下风。 In 2004, Chinese local cell phone producers witness deterioration in terms of sales volume and operation profits as well as market shares. After enjoying rapid growth for two years, local cell phones producers experience severe difficulties for the first time and almost no producer escapes decline of the market. What makes Chinese local cell phone producers collectively enter this awful situation? It's not enough to put blame on comeback of multinationals. The so-called back-end drawbacks, such as neglected R&D, incomplete supply chains, begin to be exposed. For example, many Chinese local companies buy solutions from Japan, Korea or Chinese Taiwan at random, which leads highly decentralized purchase and complete supply chains cannot be set up. Therefore, many high-end parts, such as one million pixel camera heads can be bought from nowhere. This pragmatist strategy makes Chinese local producers lose more, causing no technological uniformity, no product continuity and no planning independence, even dead inventory. When multinationals stage a comeback and the overall environment changes, the drawbacks of Chinese local producers evolve the crisis. So the pragmatic strategy must be changed as possible. Chinese cell phone industry is shocked and a full supply chain needs to be set up urgently.
