English-Chinese Contrastive Analysis in Translation Teaching

对比语言学对于翻译有着重要的理论意义 ,因此 ,在翻译教学中有必要进行英汉对比分析。文章从翻译教学的角度 ,对英汉民族的思维方式和英汉两种语言结构进行了对比分析 ,揭示了这两种语言的基本特征和差异 ,旨在指导学生掌握翻译技巧 ,在英汉翻译中克服干扰 。

Since contrastive linguistics is theoretically significant in translation, it is necessary to make contrastive analysis between English and Chinese in translation teaching. From the viewpoints of translation teaching, this paper makes contrastive analysis between English and Chinese thought patterns and between their language structures so as to reveal their characteristics and differences. In this way, it can help guide the students to master translation skills, to overcome inferences in English-Chinese translation, and to improve their translation ability.
