摘要
高职高专英语教学的目的是培养学生英语应用能力.<新编实用英语>教材充分体现了高职高专英语教学的目标.为使用好此教材,发挥教材特色,英语教师必须采用适当的教学方法来适应新形势的要求.本文阐述了英语课堂教学方法的重要意义,并详细介绍了针对<新编实用英语>教材所设计的几种课堂教学方法.
The aim of English teaching for technical and professional colleges is to develop the students' practical abilities of English. The teaching material New Practical English embodies that aim completely. In order to use this teaching material reasonably and make the most of its features, English teachers should employ suitable teaching methods to meet the demands of the new situation. This paper discusses the importance of teaching methods in English class and presents in detail several teaching methods upon New Practical English .
