摘要
本文在国内外二语学习策略研究的基础上,使用调查问卷等方法对我国大学新生的英语学习策略进行了实证性研究,并用SPSS(10.0)统计学软件对问卷进行分析,调查和讨论了学生的英语学习策略总体使用情况以及性别、成绩等因素与学生的英语学习策略使用的关系.最后,文章探讨了研究结果对大学英语基础阶段教学的启示,强调应关注学生学习策略的衔接性问题.
The present research is an attempt made to explore the English language learning strategies of college students before they begin their college English study by using questionnaire and interviews. Results of the research show that: in general, the students' learning strategies were limited; the most frequently used strategies were compensation strategies and metacognitive strategies, while the least frequently employed strategies were memory strategies and affective strategies; gender and language proficiency have significant impact on the use of certain strategies. In light of these, college teachers of English should help their students link up their learning strategies and become more effective learners.
