80年代中后期中国文学研究兴起了"重写文学史"热,在引进西方理论和重新审视传统观念的背景下,文学史研究在理论建设和实际操作上都体现出了多维的角度和空间,突出表现在对历史性、审美性和当代性的关注。新时期的文学史研究是对旧模式、旧观念的突破,是对新观念的寻求和新理论的建构。

In the late 80's,'rewriting literary history' become popular in Chinese literary circle.The research on literary history embodies different angles and dimensions based on the introduction of western theories and the re-examination of the traditional ideas,mainly shown in the concern of history,asthetics and modernity.The research also tops the old model and idea and tries to seek for and construct a new theory.
