试论人民币的自由兑换

Convertibility of RMB

随着我国社会主义市场经济体制的建立与完善以及加入WTO,中国经济进一步融入到国际市场,人民币实现自由兑换已是不可逆转的发展趋势。但是不能冒然推进,而应根据我国的具体国情,循序渐进、积极稳妥地推动人民币自由兑换的各项工作进程。

The establishment and perfection of China's socialist market economic system, as well as China's entrance of WTO, have integrated Chinese economy into the international market. As a result, the convertibility of RMB becomes an irreversible tendency of development. However, the advance of this trend should not be conducted rashly. The working procedures of convertibility of Chinese RMB are suggested to be adjusted to the present situations of China and to be advanced gradually in due order and in a sound manner.
