The Dialectical Relationship among Reform, Development and Stability Viewed Socio-politically

中国要发展 ,无疑要走现代化道路 ,要把摆脱贫困落后、迅速推进现代化确定为战略目标。改革是社会主义现代化建设的客观要求 ,改革带来了经济社会的发展 ,推进现代化进程 ,但现代化进程中遇到的新矛盾 ,要求社会主义经济、政治体制改革必须在保持政治稳定的前提下谋求渐进式的发展。

The development of China involves taking the modernization road, that is, the strategic target of removing poverty and facilitating the rapid development of modernization should be established. Reform is the objective requirement of socialist modernization construction in that it has brought about the economic and social development and prompted the modernization process, but it is required that new contradictions met with in the process of modernization should be earnestly tackled and that reforms in the system of socialist economy and politics should aim for gradual development on the premise of maintaining political stability.
