An Analysis of the Relevance between Entering WTO and Increasing Farmers' Income

"三农问题"的核心是农民问题,农民问题的关键是增加农民收入。中国加入WTO,对农民增加收入产生巨大的影响和冲击。因此,必须根据入世协议要求,结合当前"三农问题"的现状,采取有力措施,增加农民收入,从根本上解决农民收入问题。

The kernel issue concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers is the issue of farmers. The key to solve the issue of farmers is to increase their income. China's entering the WTO will produce huge impact and impingement on the increase of farmers' income. Therefore in accordance with the concrete requirements regulated in the Agreements on accession to the WTO, we have to improve the occasion. In addition, combining with the present situation concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers, we should do our best to increase the farmers' income by constructing agriculture protection mechanism, adjusting the policy related with the agriculture trade, pushing forward the labour-intensive industry and developing agricultural industrialization.
