The curriculums for normal English majors: survey and suggestions

针对高师英语专业在课程设置、教材使用以及教学方法上存在的问题,英语专业教学应根据师范教育的特点,紧紧围绕培养学生创新能力这个中心,完善课程体系,优化课程结构,更新教学内容,改革教学模式,适应知识经济时代对不同规格、不同层次外语专业人才的需要。

This questionnaire-based survey is conducted to collect information about cultivation pattern concerning curriculums,content of texts,approaches to teaching,etc. for English majors at Shijiazhuang College.Based on the results,the authors of this paper propose a series of suggestions for their improvement in an attempt to form a new pattern on cultivating talents with creative ability.
