On Dongpo’s Misuse of Allusions

东坡学富才高,喜用典故,但疏于查对,舛误不少,确实有碍解读。本文通过考查相关文献史料,对所见东坡用典失误之处进行了辨别订正。

Su Dongpo (Su Shi) was erudite and enjoyed using allusions. Yet careless as he was, he did not check allusions when using them. There are a number of misused allusions in his poems and they pose difficulties for interpretation. Based on research of the relevant historical documents and data, this paper intends to differentiate and correct the misused allusions.
