摘要 Li Shimin or Emperor Taizong of the Tang dynasty can be exalted as the "perfect man" among feudal monarchs and emperors, as his uncanny ability of interweaving civil governance with military rule was no precedent and no parallel in Chinese history. Although Li Shimin had been bestowed a great number of titles like "King of Zhao", "King of Qin" and "Taizong", a title conferred posthumously, the most glorious period in his life, the most decisive moment and the earliest place from which he rose to fame and power was in no other place than Taiyuan. And it was here that the young Li Shimin had prominently displayed his overwhelming political ambition.e=8196MRUFloat!
