Preparation and measurement of KTiOPO_4 crystal planar waveguides

本文报道了对KTiOPO_4晶体平面波导的制导和研究的结果,利用m线方法测量了其有效折射率,并利用WKB近似计算了Z^-和Z^+面上的折射率n_x、n_y,n_z的分布曲线和扩散系数;发现了离子交换过程中折射率变化的一个奇异点.

The results of the preparation and measurements of KTiOPO4 crystal planar wave guides are reported in this paper. Its effective refractive indices have been measured by using m -line method. The distribution curves of refractive indices in Z+ and Z_ faces, as well as diffusion coefficients have been calculated with WKB approximation. Anomalous point of refrcative idices during ion exchange process was discovered.
