Mao Zedong and the Establishment of the New Fourth Army

抗日战争初期,作为中共中央的领导核心,毛泽东同志指导中共代表团和南方红军游击队同国民党方面进行谈判;选派合适人员赴各游击区联络并指导工作;确定新四军的编组原则;慎重选配新四军主要领导人选;抽调干部充实和加强新四军领导力量;指示各地建立新四军后方留守机构,保持南方革命战略支点。毛泽东同志为新四军的成功组建发挥了决定性的作用,做出了不可磨灭的伟大贡献。

At the beginning of the anti-Japanese war,Mao Zedong,as the head the leading body of the CPC,guided the deputies of the CPC and the red army in Southern part of China to negotiate with Guomingdang and chose right persons to contact the guerilla forces and guide their work.He also made the principles of establishment,chose right leaders for the army,and played an important role in the establishment of the New Fourth Army.
