摘要
新台糖16号引进试种，经过植物特征鉴定和品比试验，结果与台湾资料介绍的新台糖16号基本一致。该品种确是高产早熟高糖，抗霜性强，值得桂中地区推广、从分蘖、生长特性看，抗旱性比新台糖10号强，宿根性可能比新台糖1号好，但尚需进一步观察。
The New Tai Tang 16 introduced was investigated with characteristicsin the field experiment.
