An Instrument to Measuring Analyzing and Assessing TV Image Noise

人们普遍采用CCIR第500-Ⅰ号建议书推荐的主观评价法确定电视图像质量的好坏。本文介绍一种电视图像噪声测量分析评价仪,并对其系统设计及试验作了详细论述。文章着重介绍了针对活动图像噪声处理难点采用的噪声移动处理法以及根据人的主观评价模型系统采用的电视图像噪声的自相关分析、功率频谱估计等方法。该系统外围接口简单。上述全部功能均在IBM-PC/XT上编程实现。

The method for the subjective assessment of quality of the TV Picture recommed by CCIR (Rocommendation 500-Ⅰ) is used commonly. But here, this paper intruduce sanew instrument to measuring and analyzing the vidio-noise and assessing the quality of TV pictures. This paper also discribes how to use the method of 'noise-shift' to dispose an active-image-noise in ditail and other various methods, such as TV image noise autocorrelation analysis, power spectrum estimation and so on, to simulaty a subjective assessment result. This system has a simple interface. All functions above were performed on a micro-computer—IBM-PC/XT.
