In the 1940's, Mu Dan's poetry writing reached his peak, and was also the first stage to study him. From the early 40s to the late 40s, Mu Dan , as a younger academic poet, received more attention from the older generation and was highly appraised by the young critics of the academic background. The significance of Mu Dan studies during this time is that the early discussions and evaluations of his poetries are made,based on the traditions of the world's modern poems through comparative literature,literature sociology and literature psychology, it also lies in the timely, active responses to his appearance.
