摘要
正确地理解单词或短语的含义是语篇解读的重要前提,而任何英语学习者在语篇解读时都不可避免地会碰到难以解读的词或短语。本文主要探讨词汇衔接手段在解决这一问题方面的重要作用。
Discourse decoding is mainly contingent on the correct understanding of words and phrases, however it is unavoidable for any English learner to encounter new words or phrases which are hard to understand in discourse decoding. This paper discusses the importance of lexical cohesive devices in solving this problem.
